Since july 4th they have claimed they have sent everyone’s refund back to the irs due to the irs requesting it back including mine. Is there going to be a class action lawsuit? Sbtg has been holding my state refund since feb 28th 2022 and my federal since march 2nd 2022.

The ag may proceed on. Everyone who is being screwed over by sbtpg keep records and if you can record conversations trying to retrieve your money. Tpg is lying welcome to the refund stolen family. Suing them will simply cost way more money than you will likely recover.
My tax attorney told me to wait another few weeks for sbtpg before i give him power of attorney to pursue this. Contacted sbtpg and they claim this is a standard business practice and sofi has known about it since 2011, when they were founded as a bank. I will happily lose a good chunk of my refund to pursue.
